Dear Sirs,

We are shortly due to ship to West Africa two quite large orders for milling machines and capstan lathes.
Although these machines will be packed in crates, we have decided to give them a protective coating of plastic film. This film should be able to stand up to the climatic conditions prevalent in Ghana and Nigeria, and should be tough enough to provide the machinery, particularly the more delicate parts, with protection against rough handling when being unpacked and installed.

We should be obliged if you would recommend a suitable preparation for this purpose, at the same time supplying details of its application, effective duration and removal. We should also like to know the price, minimum order, and arrangements for delivery. We should appreciate an early reply as this machinery
is to be shipped on 18th of next month.
